HELP - Need alternator - Got one???

Hey everyone, I'll be putting the motor back in my 89 si this weekend, and then I'll be installing the turbo, but I don't have an alternator yet. I really want a honda one, because I've had bad luck with aftermarket alternators. But, a new one is $250.

So... Do any of you have a used honda alternator you would like to sell to me??? I'd really appriciate it.

d series? b series? where are you located?
i have access to a 92 d series for sure, maybe some earlier ones too.

I'm in Northern NY state. D16, stock 89 si motor. Don't know if the 92 would work. Let me know if you can get one, I would really appriciate it!

PS: I got my motor back in last night. I should be starting it by tomorrow if all goes as planned.

Hey, maybe you should try East Coast Honda Recyclers. Their number is: (877)-209-9357. They are really good, and have great prices, i got a quote for a '96 GSR Teg console (the one with cupholders) with armrest and all brackets for only 75 bucks and only 15 bucks shipping to NY! So if you need an alternator, try them out!
